Congrats to PIE-Rivers founding partner Essex County Greenbelt Association for receiving more than $1 million in funding from the state’s 2016 Landscape Partnership Grant program. This funding will help conserve 525 acres of land in Hamilton, Ipswich and Essex, protecting an open hilltop landscape with views to the ocean, recreational trails, prime farmland, and core wildlife habitat.

Greenbelt is still raising funds in an effort to reach their $5.1 million goal by the April 30^th deadline. Read more about the project and how you can donate here.
