Streamflow Monitoring in the Parker and Ipswich Watersheds

The Ipswich River Watershed Association and the Parker River Clean Water Association are working together to monitor streamflow at multiple sites in the Ipswich and Parker River watersheds, including:

Ipswich River

  • Martins Brook @ Park Street (N. Reading)
  • Ipswich River @ Haverhill Street (N. Reading)
  • Fish Brook @ Mill Road (Boxford)

Parker River

  • Parker River @ Main Street (Boxford)
  • Mill River @ Mill Street (Rowley)

IRWA and PRCWA staff and volunteers take seasonal flow readings and manage pressure loggers to generate a continuous flow record for each site.
