The Partnership is governed by a Steering Committee that is responsible for shaping the strategy and ensuring viability of the partnership over the long-term. The Steering Committee meets 3-4 times per year or as needed. Responsibilities include:
- Attend regular steering committee meetings and participate in oversight and analysis of partnership activities
- Identify priority actions for the Partnership to address over defined time windows
- Assign (with consent) organizations/individuals as lead for implementing specific actions or groups of actions. In some cases this may include identifying the need for targeted sub-committees
- Develop & implement framework (e.g. templates) for action leads and/or sub-committees to plan, track and report activities related to the Action Plan
- Review and assess progress by action leads
- Assess and develop Partnership Strategy & goals as needed
