Meeting People Where they Are: IRWA and Rotary’s take water conservation on the road

Did you know that up to HALF of the water we use in the summer goes directly onto our lawns? Most people don’t know that and step one to solving our water supply problems is educating people on how and where we are using our water.

IRWA in partnership with the Ipswich-Rowley Rotary club and the town of Ipswich  is embarking on an outreach effort to engage new audiences on the critical issue of water conservation around the PIE region. This summer, Rotary volunteers and staff from IRWA  the Ipswich Water Utility have been visiting local garden centers to talk to visitors about the need to conserve water in their gardens and on their lawns.

Join us on August 24th for an interactive webinar on the state of our rivers, explore our toolkit for water conservation and advocacy, and learn more about how to get involved in saving our rivers!
