Coastal Pollutant Remediation Grant Program [Closes 5/25/2017]

The Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management (CZM) has released a RFR for the Coastal Pollution Remediation Grant Program.

The Fiscal Year 2018 Request for Responses (RFR) is now available.

Proposals are due by May 25.

The Coastal Pollutant Remediation (CPR) Grant Program provides funding to municipalities to address stormwater runoff pollution from roads, highways, or parking areas and boat waste from commercial vessels. All projects must either:

  • Directly address known sources of stormwater or boat-waste pollution that impact coastal water quality or resources, such as coastal habitat, bathing beaches, shellfish harvest or aquaculture, or anadromous fish habitat; or
  • Focus on waters with a direct connection to the coast classified as impaired by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) Integrated Waters list
